#26 ready to refit the apron

image.jpgimage.jpgI replaced the headlight wiring with a new harness from advanced auto wire, that connects at the dimmer switch.( requiring me to patch a sheet metal plate on the sidewall to reattach the dimmer). Featuring 2 relays & a 20a fuses for each filament.
finding a place to mount the board was a bit of a challenge, but because I had removed the heater core, I was able to velcro(dbl. sided tape Velcro) the harness board to the backside of the battery shelf, behind the dash.

the Velcro tape will be easy enough to remove if this configuration ever becomes a problem.
i found the new 12g wires are to big for bullet connectors, so I switched to spades.

i have used split looms to protect the wiring ( new & old). It is easy to work with, quick and seems to be offer max. Heat protection. Obviously, being " correct" is not a high priority for me.

i'm more interested in creating a reliable, updated, daily driver.
