Down here in sunny Johannesburg

Hi all,
The Johannesburg MG car club has just celebrated its 40th anniversary so we toured the old Transvaal in 9 days. Here are 83 pics at this link. Please enjoy.

PS to get the car in tip top condition I fixed the temperature problem and invented a new heater switch. Story and pics on those later.

Regards mark

That was too cool. Most tour pics here are of the same stuff. Makes me want to visit. Interesting cars and beautiful scenery. The river scenes remind me of areas around here (Northern CA) but I don't remember seeing any Hippo's in the water!

The obvious question...the wildlife pics. Top up or top down!?

Look at all the Bugeyes, now I know where they are.

Re wildlife pics -you need to have your hood up in the game park.
Like that would stop a hungry lion.

Just awesome photos...Thanks for sharing them! Makes me want to look up long-lost relatives in SA!!
