I just finished shooting the body and fenders. It is still ORANGE. Have to complete the hood and trunk lid in two days. Boy, what a hot job, wearing a bunny suit, breathing through a hood, and shooting paint. When I got done, I was soaking wet. I will let it sit till tomorrow to see how good it is. Can't tell if it is good through the mask on the hood. Seemed to go down well and I think it will polish up well.

I'll trade you locations. 19 degrees yesterday and going to -1 tonight with wind chills to -10. in fact both my overhead garage doors are frozen shut and could only use the man door to get in and out. The wife was complaining about the shape of our other garage with daily drivers in it as it is hard to walk around because of all the debris around. I think it's averaged like 15 degrees since the first of the year and told her she can clean it out herself in those temps. How does the measurements look?
 
I was born in San Diego and grew up there till college. I have never lived outside CA and never where it snowed! Your temps are a bit cold for my wife.
I pushed the car out of my paint booth and it is the best paint job I have ever done. Should polish up well. If only I had done that well 4 months ago , this car would have been done. I found just a little more reducer makes it flow better. My garage is only 64 so I left the heat on to get the metal to the right temperature. In about an hour, I will shoot the rest of the components.
I want to be done with this car so I can finish my mini!

Congratulations, nothing like getting the metal to the proper temperature for a good paint job. I sell body shop products and have that discussion with technicians all the time when they blame the product for a failure when the surface temp is too cold even when the ambient tempers are warmer then the minimum performance temps. I had hoped to already be started on a refresh restoration on my TR3 since I've been driving it for 30+ years it's tired. But way too cold. I have a furnace too and it runs for 3 + hours and only gets the garage to maybe 40 degrees.
