2022 Vintage Race Preparation

Any other racers preparing for you upcoming race season? What's your priority on the items that needing inspection?

I have gone with an engine build.
New carbs, fuel pump, distributor, etc.
But I’d make sure suspension bushes are ok
Steering links check
Brakes
And the rule book for any changes
And if applicable replace out of date parts like fire systems seat belts.

Full brake system service and complete rear Girling caliper re-build. In addition, some fine tuning on the dyno (rolling road) .......

you can't leave us hanging - what RR figures did you get ?
do you race in a power weight class ?

Fresh motor and after seating in the rings and taking a couple pulls to get the needles right with the triple SU HD8's and the new cam we still had the rev limiter set at a conservative 5800 rpm. After couple more pulls I was happy with 245hp and 260 ft lbs of torque with room to grow.

My first event isn’t until April but I have a rolling road and weigh in (inc driver ) in a couple weeks. New engine with max revs only 5.5k.
