My wife's newly purchased 2019 Convertible has developed a noise/squeaky sound when driving slowly (may also happen when going fast but the road/wind noise keeps me from hearing it?). It did not have this noise when we purchased it a few months ago. Now, when driving slowly it "squeaks" upon the tires hitting any little bump. I cannot really tell where it is coming from. Any ideas?

Squirt some rubber lubricant on all rubber bushings - sway bar, shock absorbers, etc. Not familiar with the Mini although my daughter had one a few years ago but I'm sure there are links with rubber bushes.

Thanks for a great suggestion! I will do that and also clean and lubricate the window/door seals, too.

Does it squeak on entry and leaving car. My wife's 2011 squeaks from the struts on rear. Use a non-petroleum lubricant on shaft and bushes so not to degrade them further. My 03 S even with new bushings and struts squeaks occasionally, mostly from non-daily use. We dropped mileage by retiring and the squeaks came in.
