My first new car in almost ten years. Replaced my 2010 Altima (most reliable "modern"car I've owned in 50+ years).

Onward through the fog!

Nice car; enjoy!

Good neighbor got his hooks into a 2008 Altima. Skinny money. It's the V-6 with a 5-speed STANDARD transmission! Who'd want one of those, right?!?

BWUHAAHAAAA!!!

AWESOME ride.

Very nice! Does it get to “board” with the MG in the (now cooler) garage?

I remember the early '90s when the Altima was a relatively "small" car. Remember what happened to the original 1955 Ford Thunderbird after ten years? (I would give my left ... pinkie for a 1955 Thunderbird ...)

2018 Gizmos:

ABS, automatic emergency braking, CVT with standard and "sport" modes, Vehicle Dynamic Control (automatic side braking related to over/under steer, traction control, Intelligent Cruise Control (variable speed depending on traffic), left/right blind spot warnings, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision warning, remote start with automatic summer/winter temp adjust, keyless entry and ignition, TPMS with individual wheel psi, "easy fill" tire psi alert, GPS Navigation, SiriusXM (trial), moving map on center dash screen and/or between tach and speedo, heated steering wheel and seats, "zero gravity" seats, automatic brake force distribution. And some really nice cup holders!

I have a 2015 Altima that I bought for my wife. We really like the car a lot. It's the base model version, but it still drives nice.

You'll find SiriusXM is very addictive compared to terrestrial radio. I have it both the Altima and the Rogue -- I spend so much time in the car, I might as well enjoy it.

another form of keyless entry ...

In the "yeah they don't let us do that anymore" category we used to have demolish car fundraisers in my high school - a buck a hit or some such thing. Still remember one where literally the first swing (from the roof to the windshield) broke the sledge hammer. Hmmm I guess we get to kick it now.

OTOH that memory has influenced my event planning to this day in terms of a plan B and spares.

I didn't see a backup camera. Did you forget or does it not have one?
Does it have a beeper or other warning if you exit the car with motor running? Very important. 21 people dead from CO poisoning.

You're right. I forgot that. Backup camera comes on when you're in reverse; shows on the 7" color LCD screen in the middle of the dash.

Has the warning beeper - and even turns off the engine after ten minutes unless you punch a button.

So far so good - really enjoy driving it. That CVT "sport mode" sure gives the impression of higher torque.
