2008 Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival - Sept. 5-7

We will probably pull out to the PVGP track-event at BeaveRun with #11 the week before and run that (we did it the last two years).

Not sure if we'll stay around all week to see the "street" races in Shenley Park....but would love to.

We'll see....

Banjo will have to work for his beverage. He will have to video the Tour, but he has to aim the camera at the track, not at guardrails!

But Dale the truck will hold plenty of coolers, and there's other work to be done for a Gent like you.
Oh darn, you mean you're gonna force me to ride around the track and such in a TR3 and video it all? What a horrible job.... Not sure I'll be able to hold the camera with my broken arm from you twisting it so much...
hehehehehehehehe.
Man, that sounds like fun. You'll have to supply the camera though. my video was taken off a digital camera with video feature. but what you see is about as long a video as it'll take.
I'm pretty good at keeping it pointed where it needs to be. I've had practice.
Let's do it!

I met Nial last year at the PGVGP, he was busy working on the car but generous enough to chat with me. I like the Beaver run races, esp the (hate to say this here) American Iron races.

Hmmmm... Might have a problem there. All I have is an old-timey video tape camera. Haven't used it in years. And the video feature on my digital camera is probably about like yours, although I have never used it.

Maybe I'll break open the piggy bank and head to Best Buy.

We'll figger sumpin' out.

With that many BCF members going to be in attendance maybe we can organise a group effort.
Who's got a digital video camera?
Maybe if someone has the talent, we could compile short videos togeather and produce a BCF at Watkins DVD for Basil to sell.( hey I can think big)
