2000 S type wiper position

On my recently acquired 2000 S-type 4.0, I have noticed that the passengers side wiper does not rest below the bonnet(hood) in the well. Is this the correct position or should it rest below the edge of the bonnet ?

Am enjoying the car at the moment. Awaiting a fine or contact with another object to temper my enthusiasm. I am wondering why I didn't buy one earlier. Traded in a nearly new Rover 45 for this one - best thing I ever did (touch wood!).
 
Indeed the S is a fine machine! Welcome to the forum by the way!

No idea on the wiper, maybe another S Type owner will chime in (or you could call the dealer and inquire). I would think it was designed to sit below the bonnet (I'm sure there must be other Stypes in the area you could look at?)

Greetings and welcome to the forum!Can't help you out on the wiper thing, but I'd bet someone here can. I'm so grateful when my wipers work that I don't worry about the park position much. Not to draw comparisons between my TR7 and your fine Jag.:eek:)
