The driver's door checkarm (the thing that stops the door in two positions when opening) on my 2000 S Type broke where is attaches to the door post. The replacement was only $24, but I need to remove the inside door panel (plastic? vinyl) to install it. I assume the door panel with arm rest, clips on as most older vehicles, but am unsure how, where? Does anyone know how I should remove the panel without damaging it? Thanks
