The kids/grandkids left a couple hours ago; came in on Wednesday. Great visit, but sure is nice and quiet now!

Our youngest and his wife came over for a nice Turkey day. The oldest was deployed over "there" somewhere.

Went to a friends. Very quiet this year. Douglas was on duty. It was a very nice dinner. I brought with me wine and a very special pie. I call it "that **** Rosebud Apple Pie." It probably was good except the apples never cooked. 45 minutes in the oven. Fortunately hosts had other desserts. Must say though it sure was beautiful. And from start to finish only took me 3.5 hours.

Judy - pie looks great! Probably could have fixed the problem with a few minutes in the microwave.
