was wasting a little time and came across this uner 10,000 mile original wedge for $19,+++. Wow... I understand the milage but you think he has a chance of selling it for that?

Yes, sure pretty but I am not convinced it is that pretty

the resolution on the photos aren't very good. was trying to see if it had an 80mph speedo or been upgraded to a 140 mph speedo.

This is just my opinion but I would never trust the assessment or buy anything from the outfit that listed that TR8!
Went through their "Museum" a couple of years back when I spied a nice looking '65 Vette. The description on the car said all original with no cracks. The car was a re spray and my friend and I found a whole bunch of cracks in the fiberglass. On another occasion they had someone drive one of their cars to a local show to try to generate interest. They claimed the car to be an authentic GTO Judge. Too many Pontiac heads spotted it for a clone (and not a good one either) and the driver high tailed it out of the show after only being there for a short time.

I found an article in the Classic Motorsport Mag tonight with said "the TR8 might be the best Triumph ever" That is a very brave thing to say but wow there is allot of article about a car few want to remember

Alan, You'd better jump on the band wagon before you get priced out.

I wondered the same thing as soon as looked at the ad. My TR8 probably has about that many miles too--after I changed the 80 mph speedo to the 140! :yesnod:

I was squinting real hard at the odomoter and counting the big numbers it sure looks like a 140 speedo on it
