TR2/3/3A 2" SU's on a TR3?

I found a 4A curved tube intake manifold in my parts bin. Someone had bored it out to take 2" carbs! Not that I'm planning on doing it but I was wondering how the motor would perform if that set up was installed on a TR3 motor? What Brit cars were 2" SU's used on...Jags?

I think Jags and a pair on the last generation of Big Healey's. Bolting on 2" SUs probably wouldn't do much for performance in and of itself, but on a built motor with raised compression, a cam, higher redline, the increased capacity could increase performance.

Some Rovers too as I recall. But yeah, probably not much to say about them on an otherwise stock engine (other than perhaps the novelty factor).
