Does anyone know the source of the rear calipers on a +2? Is the piston the same size (54 mm) as the front calipers? It looks to me as the rebuild kit for 16 P calipers will fit the rear also.

AFAIK, the rear calipers are Lotus only. Rear pistons are 34 mm, 16P fronts are 54 mm, don't think the seal kits interchange.
RD Enterprises has stainless pistons for both front and rear calipers.

Agreed, they are not cheap, but not really that much more than stock units. The longevity factor is certainly there.
