2 midget problems 1979 help!

1979 1500 midget with 2 problems:
1. I noticed in heavy stop and go traffic today that I had difficulty shifting the gearshift into 1st and then into second gear. Does this sound like I need to replace the clutch master cylinder?

2. I like to drive the car to work on the highway, but notice a fair amount of uncomfortable vibration the second I exceed 50MPH. I have all 4 tires recently balanced, but the problem still persists. I even rotated the tires from front to back to see if that helped...no.
Thanks for your input!

Have you replaced the clear plastic clutch line? perhaps it is getting warm and expanding some with the warmer underhood tems of stop and go driving.

If the drive shaft has been removed and not replaced in the same position, it is possible that it may cause a vibration.
