2 LBC's for the Price of One - OMG!!!

At least it is British drive train under a "British" "body", not the usual VW set-up.

Cool! The classic looks of the MG T and the power and (ahem) reliability of a TR4. (Flame suit on) Who could ask for more??

Not a bad looking job either!

Given the price of a nice TR4 that would, if the mechanics are sound and the chassis wasn't butchered make a pretty reasonable basis for a rebuild back to a more normal configuration. A good chassis, engine and drivetrain would cost rather more than the current bid (ÂŁ1120) though the reserve may make it rather less attractive.

But I've entirely too many projects on the go already...

And then the divorce could be expensive....

The proportions of the body look all out of whack. It just doesn't have the charm of a real 'TD'.

Those wheels and tires also subtract from it looking like a TD replica.

I would try and find some sort of aftermarket body for that TR chassis. Didn't Devin do a small-sized body?

Or, get something custom made in ally and make my own 50s style special.

An abomination.

I concure wholeheartly.

My Father had a '53 TD that I learned the princples of "wet sanding" on. He repainted it five time in the twenty years he owned it.

He could have done this. electric

It could be interesting if it was ever finished.
