2 Electrical Questions

I am trying to put my BT7 back together (The car sat for some 25 years)and have a few electrical questions. Note that the car is still possitive ground.

Question #1. On the back of the battery shut off switch it is labeled E, B, CB. I am assuming (E) is for Earth ground, (B) would be Battery, and the CB wires to the Coil. Is this correct?

Question #2. The original coil is labeled CB ans SW. My replacement coil is labeled + an -. Is + the same as the CB? And - the same as SW?

Any help would be great.

Thank you

Michael

For a positive ground car, yes, you are correct.

Hi Michael, YES to all.----Keoke--- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

CB = Contact Breaker
SW = switch (ie ignition switch)

Not sure that helps but thought I'd mention it.
