Hi looking into buying 1E120049 1966 Jaguar XKE Roadster. Can not find anything on the VIN or history. Said to be in Houston TX.

Any help would be great!

Your vin has too many zeros. It's probably 1E12049.

Unfortunately, xkedata.com doesnt have any info on it. https://www.xkedata.com/cars/detail/?car=1E12049

If you google "jaguar 1E12049" you can find lots of pictures of it along with recent auction history.

Given that Houston is reasonable close to Austin, you might call ClassicJaguar.com and see if they have any experience with it.
