I've just bought an XJ8 Sport and a niggly problem is the wiper over-runs on all settings, but not all the time. I.e. intermittent setting might give anything from 1 to 15 sweeps. Could this be a relay or a timer? Also there is no illiumination for the clock - do these clocks have a backlight and what bulb might it be?
