MGB 1982 MG B 1.8L. Timing?

I timed it with a timing light by loosening the collar around the base of the distributor, helped but wasn't the problem, took it my local guy since my wife would like to drive it before winter is here again and I don't have time. My mechanic checked every vacuum line and cleaned carb #2, now it runs nice again. Thank you everyone for your help!
