MGB 1980 mgb heater box

I've owned my MGB for just over 2 years now. I'm slowly improving on all the work previous owner performed.
I'm at the heater box. I purchase a used but complete box, had it glass beaded, then powder coated. I took picutres during disassembly. I purchased all new parts thru Moss and Victoria British. Now for the assembly and installation.
I'm looking for tips on the installation. Also any kind of literature or assembly instructions related to this would also be very helpful.
As a last resort, I may take the whole thing to my MG Guru, but then I'd miss out on a lot of aggravation.

Slide a long piece of clear plastic tubing through the firewall where the control cable goes....stick the control cable in it as you're inserting the heater box into its hole...the plastic tubing will slide out under the dash as the control cable pushes it out - that'll act like a guide to thread the cable trough the holes in the firewall!
