In the early Fall of 2021
, I was reading an article in The Wall Street Journal by A.J. Blame under his column "My Ride". The article was about a 1980 MGB, and a very nice article, but I started thinking, you know there about a thousand artciles out there about MGB's. So, in the comments section online, I posted a picture of my 1978 TVR 3000S and said why don't you write about something different? Anyway a couple of weekslater I get a telephone call from Mr. Blame's secretary, was I available to speak to Mr. Blame. Yes, of course, what a real surprise. Anyway he was on his way to take his daughter to music lessons and asked if the car in the picture was mine. And I replied yes, that is my TVR. He mentioned that in all the years they have been doing his column, My Ride, they had never done an article on a TVR. He asked if I would be willing to show my car and answer a few questions about the car for an upcoming future story. I agreed. In mid November a free lance photographer working for Mr. Blame, asked that I meet him at one of the Chicago area Forest District Parks to photo shoot the car for the article. It was a overcast day and cold, but for four hours, the photogragher took dozens and dozens of photos, which would be wittled down to four or five. Anyway, the Article finally appeared in the January 8, 2022 issue of The Wall Street Journal in A.J. Blames "My Ride". https://www.wsj.com/articles/his-vintage-british-rocket-ship-is-a-rare-find-in-the-u-s-11641654002
