Great looking Spitfire!

How'd you find it - and more important, how'd you decide to set your sights on Spitfires?

Welcome aboard! I took the liberty of inserting your picture in your post rather than just having it as an attachment.

Hi, I have always admired this cars. I saw it on Craigslist in Tucson. It had a frame off restoration that ended 7 years ago. The guy I bought it from had it for 6 years, but was getting a bit too old to enjoy it. Drove great until some of the rear wheel studs broke off. Ordered new hubs and the removal tool, all should be here next week. Also put new tires on, old ones were 18 years old.
but super happy with the car, it’s going to be lots of fun. Looking forward to meeting new triumph owners soon.
