Hi all
Question about proper mounting of the windshield washer tank.
I got 3 new rubber blind nuts and when I installed the mount using them the tank is to close to the air filter.
There are two other holes that are not large enough to allow the rubber blind nuts to be used without drilling them out larger, but they line up perfect with the tank mount and provide the clearance. These smaller holes are sited outboard to the left of the large outboard hole. Here is a photo.
Did they not use the rubber blind nuts in later cars?
Didn't want to just drill out larger holes without knowing.
What is the proper way to mount this beast?
Also here's a shot of the interior with the new dash and carpet and plinth recovered.
Can you tell what the weather is like today in Western Washington?
