Hi Everyone!
Great to be here.I fell in love with Triumph TR6's when I was 15. The year of the 74......
Well, 4 corvettes and 35 years later, I finally got one!
A 1974 with 72000 miles. Got it for a song. No rust, solid frame, orig interior with new cushioning, carpet, 2 tonneau covers. In the last 3 weeks have replaced rear diffy mounts, rear springs, shock/stab connectors, front springs, shocks, front stab links, outer tie rod ends, lower support arm rebuilds, converted to GM alternator, fan belt, Ignitor ignition and coil, K/N chrome air filters,8.5 mm wires, new plugs,Customized the rear exhaust with Ansa tips that exit perpendicular to original muffler(angry sounding lol) valve cover gasket and managed to put 1000 miles on it....Very tight, squeakless ride.
I look forward to making myself more knowledgable about my car through your wonderful forum!
Double Cheers!
