According to mgcars.org.uk, 1974.5 production started in 9/74 with car #360301 and ended in 12/74 with #367647. This would mean that there are 7,347 '74 1/2 MG roadsters, right? Or am I including some GTs in that number? https://www.mgcars.org.uk/MGB/mgbchassis.html

Clausager has 1247 GTs and 5274 Roadsters, so 6521 is their number, and that was the 1974.5 numbers.
That number included North American LHD, no other export.

Thanks Baz! I'm also working on a list of differences between the '74.5 and '75 cars. This is what I have so far, off the top of my head:

Red nose emblem vs. black
Dual SU carbs vs. single Stromberg
No brake booster vs. brake booster
Overdrive not standard vs. standard overdrive
Three windshield wipers vs. two
Antenna on right side fender vs. left side

I think antenna placement was largely chosen by the dealer or distributor who installed the radio, wasn't it?
