TR6 1973 TR6 Rear Frame / Body Bushings

Looking for the now NLS rear bushings between the frame & the body on the rear RH / LH for a 1973 TR6.

Moss lists it as part 803-535, Item #47 here: https://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=32893#top

However, it is aluminum and that won't fly for this car. Anyone have a rubber or urethane crosses to the proper sized spacer for this?

Randy, just curious why that won't work? The originals were aluminum as well.


Here's is a pic of mine when I started my restoration...one side had two shims stacked, the other had one...they are the horseshoe style...

Yup those are them! One side has three, the other one, and the body leans. Would like to replace all of them with new.

Wonder why they had non matching count side-to-side?

The fact that the shims were part of the OEM spec for the cars pretty much answers the question, the frame/body combination apparently had enough variance that the shims were used to even up door gaps, etc.
