MGB 1972 MGB Color

Can anyone tell me if this is real MGB color for 1972?

I can't recall it as such, but then I'm OLD. I can't remember much about '72...

'cept it was dark half th' time. :smirk:
 
It is hard to tell from your picture.

Almost looks Aqua...a 1972 only colour. Is it blue/green/seafoam colour?

But...it also looks silver...which was NOT an MGB colour.
 
It looks almost Healey BLUE to me.

That is NOT Aqua...and is NOT an MGB colour from 1972....nice shade, though!
 
I agree with Rick. As far as I know, 72 was the only year for Aqua, but that's not aqua. I have no idea what color it is. Real nice color, even if it isn't original.
Datsun in 76 had a color similar called "Smoky Blue Poly". The Colt Cricket had a similar color also called " Silver Metallic".
 
No, not an original MGB color for any year.
