Picked up my TR6 last week drove it 150 MI ran just fine. Got home lifted the hood found there was oil on top of the valve cover coming from the vent on the cap and on the air filter trays of the Weber downdraft carburetors. I checked the Carbin canister it was a mess I had to rebuild it with new charcoal new filters new screens, it was completely clogged. Now my car does nothing but backfire and buck when I take it out for a ride.
Any thoughts since I don't know much about working on these motors ?
