Hi ya'll from Kentucky :smile:. Carla and I are just about ready to register our "project" and the Sheriff says we have to have an outside door mirror on the driver's side which we don't have. The holes are there but we are trying to avoid a $35 - $60 (plus shipping) mirror from VB. Does anyone have one a little cheaper? The holes are 1 1/2 iches on center. Thanks.

Sorry - just checked and it is a Passenger side mirror. Over on the Spridget board a Sprite is being parted out - there's a good chance the mirrors will be interchangeable. OR, I bought my bullet mirrors on ebay, much cheaper - they don't actually work but they sure look cool.

That is surely an undersatement! My 68 MGB has them and while they do look cool....they are essentially worthless....I plan to remove them as soon as I get another set of "stem" style (?) mirrors with similar bases.

I have the one I switched off of our '71. It is an origonal and in not too bad of shape. I can send you a picture of it and if it is ok for you, I will send it down to you.

Paul...Thanks! If it has mounting holes on 1 1/2" centers, it should work. If you can send a pic, that would be great. Let me know how much you want for it.

The the edges of the glass is a little cloudy and a bit of the chrome on the stem is worn but it is quite adequate if you need it to pass safety. Heck.. you can even keep it on and see the traffic in the left lane before turning. :smile:

Oh and I have got enough free stuff sent to me over the years from MG folks. I wouldn't expect anything for this.
