1970 Volvo 142

I think I'd just leave it there ...

+1 Leave it Doug - SWMBO and I were having this conversation the other day. There is a Mid 80's Audi Avant near here for little money in excellent shape - and I can't even justify it to myself! There's always a "good" deal out there. Sort out what you have, get rid of a few more, get what you have running well and let someone else save it.

I'll probably pick it up,as it's free, but have no plans
on keeping it.The owner's moving,& doesn't want to see it scrapped.
Plus,I have an empty car trailer that I can store it on.
I might also see if I can get something for it,to help pay for the
rest of the projects around here.

Is it possible to swap in the engine and front clip of a 164E and make a 162?
