1969 Heater air inlet behind grill- pix?

Jack, I have no idea where I put them...but now that I've seen the photo in this thread, bet I'll find some....how many go across there?

Mine has 5, but I don't know if that's the proper amount.

No clue Tony, Guess I would go with 58Custom what ever his name is.

Are they on your old wireing still?

No, I took them off & laid somewhere

cool Ford!

Well, I'm out to my MG Graveyard to find the clips!

Hi Tom, glad to have you with us.

Tom...could you take a photo of the other side of the grille opening so I can see the entire thing?

OK. I'll get one tomorrow. I just got my heater motor today and put it all together. I just shoved the replacement hose through the inner apron and it is held in place nicely by tension.

So now I know that my fan switch is broke. Figures.

Fan switch won't be broke, just needs cleaning up and green stuff removed from it. Likely brushes in the fan motor need renewed as well. My fan almost never works when sitting still but a little movement from driving and it kicks right in.

I tested th fan before the install and it works well. Ebay find. My problem now is removing the switch. I read the factory manual on how to use a screwdriver to remove the switch portion from the bezel, but now I have to go under and try it out. Kinda cramped under there.

Thanks. I finally found 3 of those wiring clips that I took off my car...want to see how many you have on the other side & their location.

Tom - does your car have an oil cooler?

No oil cooler.

I just reassembled the heater and reinstalled the grill yesterday afternoon, and the day before I installed a VB-sourced relay harness (with bright yellow sleeving, yuk) for the headlights. But, the number and locations of the harness clips holding the headlight and parking light wires remains unchanged. Two clips to the right of center and three to the left.

That's a good photo...I have the 2 for the right side & 1 of the 3 for the left side...gotta find 2 more for the left side...but at least I can start installing what I have to close up the harness.

Also need to get a "this vehicle wired positive earth" decal!

Bumped because I need the photos as I install my wiring behind the grill.

Mouse over pix, right click, save as and it's your forever. Can I provide other pix?

I just put the carbs back on and took it for a spin. I opened the heater vents and turned on the blower. Bunch of leaves and pine needles blew out all over my kid's shoes. Well, it works!

Nope, thanks! Got it all done...
