There is a blue 1968 GT6 with a white racing stripe down the passenger side - complete at https://coloradoautoandparts.com/. It is smashed evenly just above the front bumper back about 6", did not get into the bonnet hinge area. All it really needs is a new bonnett, everything else looks straight, all glass is good..
They are asking $2650.

If it sits too long it will go to the shreader next door I am sure in a few weeks.

I will post a photo in a bit.

Cheers!

Actually Andy, I do not think it even got into the radiator that bad - maybe just the bracing panels. It is definately above the bonnet hinges and they are not bent back at all. I will be heading down to see it again this week and take a few more good photos and a more detailed overview. Seems to me there were a set of rotoflex axles in the boot too.

Does anyone know what is it really worth? There is no rust, all the other body panels seem straight, interior is good, all glass is good, painted wire wheels. Is it worth $2650 as a wreck? Probably has a salvage title now that would have to be put back to "Restored from Salvage"

I recall someone on this list had a bonnet for sale for a GT6 works style racer? I will have to go back to the old forum and do a search. I sure do not need another Triumph but I also do not want to see it go to the shredder either.

So that Plymouth, has classic tags too, and is in pretty good shape overall.

With its front bumper, hood and body all indicating it's a Mk1, those roto-flex axles (found on GT6+'s) aren't going to fit it.

That's what I was thinking, Jay: it's not (or wasn't originally) a Roto-flex car. Whether it's worth $2650 is hard to say, but probably not. However, it easily might be worth somewhere around $1500 or more to the right person, especially if it's otherwise solid, straight and clean!

I was wondering about the rotoflex bits too, but I will have to have a better look if I get a chance to visit this week. I was thinking $2650 was kind of high.

Cheers!

$2650 is a lot more than the yard will get if they crush it. If I was looking for a project I'd make them an offer.
