After looking at the calender on the wall, with a '67 Dodge Polara convertible on it,I was wondering/thinking aloud, Whwere there ANY badly styled '67 cars? I can't think of any. - Doug

Those scoop-sided full sized Chryslers, and the last pre-510 Datsuns.

Oh! And for six months I was stuck with a 67 Catalina 4-door... no idea WHO came up with that front end.:sorrow:

I think the 60s in general were a good time for cars, especially American ones. The good designs seemed to outnumbered the bad ones by a hefty margin back then.

The late sixties were really the high-water mark for the American auto industry. Cars were powerful, reliable, comfortable, most were reasonably affordable, and they were good looking to boot. It still amazes me how one could literally build a car "a la carte" by choosing individual options, and the various combination and permutations of those choices that you come across today are remarkable.

These days, it's order by trim lines and whatever the dealer can foist off on you as a dealer installed option.

The worst one, though, still has to be the Honda CRV EX. I mean, do you really want to drive a car named after a part of the female anatomy?

I don't know, I've had a bunch of cars and this is one of my favorites! A 1985 Eldorado! I ordered it for the wife for her birthday, which she fell in love with it! I drove it whenever she would let me have it, which wasn't to often! :highly_amused: Same model and color, rode and handled like a dream. PJ
