TR4/4A 1966 TR4As - 2 in MT

I looked at two TR4As in Stephensville, MT. They are CA cars, owned by Charlie since 1970s, family related prior to orig. Stored in MT 15 yrs, and CA prior.
Red TR4A has data plates: CT 56015 and CTC 55730 L O
Maroon TR4A has CTC 50205 L

The maroon one has a surrey/hardtop, some weird Datsun seats.
Very clean cars. Bob Cotes is the contact, his brother-in-law,
at 406 642-3200.
Some wheeler-dealer is trying to buy them and part them or raise the price. They want them to go to a restorer, $6000 offered, but they'd like: a bit more and a TR restorer.

Boy, if I didn't already own 2 and they weren't so darn far away, I'd love to get these. Overdrive on one and Surrey top on the other?

You say they look clean? How are the bodies for rust in the rockers, floors and fenders?

They looked clean, in & out. Surface rust and very dusty. Door panels and rockers were solid when I tapped on them. Wish I had the space and cash to save them! Dono

Those sound like they have huge potential to be really great restorations
