Hello All,
I hope I have this topic placed right this time. New to the site.
I appreciate being a new member of this forum and would like to start off by seeing if anyone has any experience with the 1965 Triumph Spitfire MK2. I have own mine for 2 1/2 yrs now located in Colorado , USA and have done limited restoration on it. I am getting ready to dive into the guts of the car and am reading everything I can on the engine and transmission. It runs pretty good but leaks oil and I just purchased an electronic ignition but haven't yet installed it. If anyone has any suggestions or know of somewhere I can turn to for restoration help I would very much appreciate it.

You're here; that's a great start. Two other suggestions: 1. If you haven't already done so, purchase a factory workshop manual; and 2. (if they're not too far from you) contact and consider joining the Rocky Mountain Triumph Club. The Internet is great, but nothing beats a fellow club member that can drop by and offer advice, a hand...or a beer!

Welcome Lavoy. Tho I'm a bit of a drive away, I'd be happy to give you a hand if needed. RMTC is a great group of folks. You can also look forward to the British Motoring Conclave next Sept.

Welcome to the group.
You will not find a more helpful, knowledgeable, witty group of guys. As you work post a question. You will get suggestions, instructions and pictures. Feel free to send me a Pm for specific questions. More than happy to help.
