1963 Sprite MKII 1000 info needed

I'm in the process of replacing rusted out floor panels in my 1963 MK II Sprite 1100 ( 1098 engine series ), and I need to know if the stiffners that run from the jacking cross member to the front of the rear bulkhead were used in this series of cars. The car still uses the quarter eliptical spring arrangement as did the MKI Bugeye, and early MK.II. There seems to be confussion about their use. I am aware of the fact that the 1962 Sprite 948 engined cars used this stiffner. The original floors had previously replaced with flat sheet metal, thus the reason for my question.
Many thanks to any and all answers to this question to include photos if possible is greatly appreciated.
CHEERZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The post title should read 1100 not 1000. OOPS!!!!

Yes, they did use the floor stiffeners. I don't know of cars that did not..but I may be wrong

Devin, thanks for the answer. Further research shows the stiffners were used through 1964 when they went to 1/2 ellipictal springs.
CHEERZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
