Just wanted to say, I am finally getting my Jag Mark II restored. It is a pretty much a nut and bolt restoration with a few minor upgrades.
Yes, it's costing a lot but it has been my favorite car for 48 years now and the time has come. Since I live in South Florida, I made the tough decision to
install a custom Mark II kit for air conditioning. I would not have done it if I lived anywhere north. Also, upgrade on the cooling system, ignition, and
went with an alternator due to the a.c. unit installation. Everything else is stock.
I am now contemplating a partial restoration of my 1978 Jag XJ6 (European model with chrome bumpers and kilos on the speedo and no pollution devices).
I know they don't have a big resale value but the car is unique and great to drive in my old age.
So, I just thought I would post something for the first time. Enjoy those British cars!
