1963 BJ7 Resto up-date
I just finished uploading some new pictures to the album I created for the restoration of my '63 BJ7. Please excuse if some are a bit blurry, as they are screen prints from videos I recorded using a GoPro attached to my nest while working. I also managed to unfortunately delete a couple of videos by mistake, they were showing the installation of the head, cam followers, push rods and rocker shaft, so no pictures for any of that.
I also wanted to ask, I would like to get rid of all the oil drips I can , I fitted one of the Rear Crank Seal Conversion Kits, and was thinking about the felt plugs, is it a good idea to soak them with RTV silicone gasket maker before installing to try to block any oil from going out of the engine. Is it a good idea or not?
