hi Folks
this is a film my dad made in 1961
very many vintage cars, - not all race cars but having a go regardless
many famous cars and people of the post war era

Thanks for that, Hamish. I remember many of the cars and drivers, knew some them. Mostly passed on now, sadly.
I am still a VSCC member, though living in Texas these days, and my avatar shows me in a vintage Austin, many years ago!

Priceless. Those ERAs were quite something. That ugly homemade tin thing could only have come from the UK. Those drivers were lucky. No rollbars, crappy helmets. That guy that ended up on the bank must have soiled his pants. I know I would have.

The ERA is I think my favourite all time car.
I have grown up in VSCC paddocks seeing and hearing them race.
simply stunning for the time and still are the ultimate racer if you watch the modern goodwood videos
