Yes...mystery G.

Found a G punched into the sheetmetal just in front of the scuttle opening. Haven't seen or read about this before. Anyone know what/why it is there?

Today I started preparing to replace the battery box. Guess what I found... not G but A, and it looks to be in the same spot. So, what does it mean? I probably wouldn't have noticed it, but I read this thread the other day.
