Yes...mystery G.

Found a G punched into the sheetmetal just in front of the scuttle opening. Haven't seen or read about this before. Anyone know what/why it is there?

Good theory, except there's no G in commission numbers, is there?

Hey maybe after a long Friday nooner ,the guy was to drunk to know the difference between a Herald and a TR3

Today I started preparing to replace the battery box. Guess what I found... not G but A, and it looks to be in the same spot. So, what does it mean? I probably wouldn't have noticed it, but I read this thread the other day.

If the next letter that turns up is an "M", then I think Lucy will have some splaining to do.......

It stands for the guy who inspected the welding on the car.

My last comment I wanted to say with authority but to be truthful I have no idea but it sounded good.
