Just got word its leaving Phoenix Monday mid-day & will be in Trussville, AL Wednesday morning for me to link up with it! He's delivering another car to Trussville & it was cheaper for me to drive down there & pick up than to have him bring it on up here as he's heading from Trussville to Atlanta & I'm a 4 hour roundtrip out of the way.

Trouble is, my big Dodge truck's "check engine" light came on Saturday as I was going to Mississippi to pick up my V8 car from the bodyshop (will try again next Saturday)....the Dodge goes to dealer first thing Monday morning but I'm not comfortable they'll have it finished in time to head out to Trussville Tues afternoon (spend night at daughter's which is nearer to T'ville).

Guess I'll fire up my old trusty '92 Sonoma to do the pickup & haul home!! Haven't been on a road trip in in in a long time!

I can't wait to see the pictures!

Tony, thats why I've never gotten rid of the Dakota, when everything else breaks down it starts and goes

I saw those. I'm waiting to see pic of it in front of the garage mahal.

AH!! Well, I've already moved things around inside so it has a parking place next to my '59 MGA roadster!!

Tony,

We've got a '94 Dakota.The "Check Engine" light
comes on every once in awhile. It's the EGR,which I'll
get around to....... someday. But you never know.

- Doug

P.S.- I've still got these MGA wheels sitting in the driveway!

Just got back from the dealer - 3 different things, all transmission control related...they're ordering the parts & will repair it Wednesday.

I'm waiting to hear about the other wheels....

Heading to Birmingham today - will spend night with dasughter & meet my coupe early tomorrow morning in Trussville

Taking my old '92 GMC Sonoma since big Dodge is in shop....little Sonoma has pulled many an MG in its day!

Photos when I return home (just for Kenny...hehehe)

Tony,

I must say, if ANYONE on this forum needs another LBC, 'tis you

You can always count on old faithfull when you need it. Gool luck picking it up.

Its 10pm & I just got back from loading it up in a lighted parking lot....its sitting on my trailer in front of daughter's house...head home with it tomorrow!!

Good thing you went tonight instead of when they said they'd be there.
Yep! He had an accident towing to Oregon & had to get truck repaired...long covered trailer still has dents & scratches all down the passenger side...but we've kept in touch!

You should've seen the 29 Chrysler convertible in the trailer with my MGA!

.....DROOL.....! I am particulary partial to pre-War cars...of any make
