1959 Low Beam Headlights Not Working

All,

On to the next issue. My BN4 low beam headlights will not come on. No power at the bulb. High beams are okay. I pulled the dip switch and did some quick checks for power but found out nothing. What is the best way to check for power at the dip switch? Do I ground my test light to the frame and test the three wires or test the UR and UW wires with the other lead connected to the U wire? The later is what I did today with no result on either the UR or UW wires.

The blue wire is power from the light switch on the dash. So connecting the voltmeter between the blue wire and ground should give you battery voltage when the dash light switch is on. Depending on the dip switch position, you should have battery voltage between blue/white or blue/red and ground.

I believe that blue/red is low beams and blue/white high. From Norm Nock's Tech book.
