1959 BN7 Throttle Control Linkage

Good day all. I’m having a problem with the throttle on my 1959 BN7. When I release the pedal quickly it springs forward and stops about eight inches from the toe board. I tried making adjustments on the carburetor control linkage from under the hood (Fig. A.31) with no luck. Is it possible for me to access levers “B” and “C” in Fig. A.30 (See attachment) from under the hood in order to adjust the throttle control linkage?

Yes, sort of. Lever C goes to the throttle switch for the overdrive. The pivot for them on the left of Fig. A.30 is under the heater duct and hard to reach.
