1959 Austin-Healey Sebring Factory Team Car

WOW, $48,100 bid and still didn't make the reserve. Looks like a BJ trip coming up. Nice car though. If authentic, a piece of history in a small package. Would make a great addition to the Healey museum.

Did a nice job on the interior and the engine.... only 6 days left.
Wonder how high the bid will get??

That is not how I would spend my automotive investment dollars. These cars were not very heavily modified. No special body work at all really. Later works Sprites with special bonnets and roofs had factory modifications that really stood out. This just looks like a fully restored blue bugeye with dual exhaust a factory hardtop, some numbers and a big gas tank that has been modified to be a small gas tank. I understand that it has great historical significance, don't get me wrong. But it just doesn't appear significant, and I'd have a real hard time spending $50K+ on it.

Wow! ...should have not given mine away when I bought my new Spitfire...
