Here is your chance Sprite fanatics to owner one very rare and historic significate small bore Austin-Healey race car. The restoration of this car has be well documented and everything appears to done right. I think I'll be putting this on the wish list I give to my wife.

Theres a piece of chrome that is seen in the picture taken from the right rear quarter of the car that appears in the upper center of the number roundel what is it? a mirror mount maybe? power switch? bottle opener? anybody know.
 
I believe you are refering to the marker light. They used to light the numbers on the cars for endurance races etc. ie. Le Mans where they race all night long.
 
A similar car went for over $60,000 not too long ago, I'd expect this one to fetch similar, or more. Engine's not original but everything else seems correct.

A piece of history, that. Lovely car.
