TR2/3/3A 1958 TR3 question

Have one I'm restoring for a friend. I didn't disassemble or paint it so I'm not sure what part was in this place. There is something different about this one and my 1960.

There is a hole in the bonnet centered in the rear near the windshield. It is a small 1/8" hole and under it in the drip edge above the fire wall is a 1/2" hole.

Does anyone know what this might be or supposed to contain?

Have you ever heard the term "GOK", it meens God Only Knows. At this piont the GOK is why these were not welded up before painting...

Aftermarket windshield wiper spray nozzle?...

That would be my guess... the kind that sprays left and right from a single nozzle head. May have to roam the junkyard unless someone recalls a car that had such a thing.

I've restored several TR3s. never seen anything in the center of the bonnet at the back.
Musta been somthing a PO installed.

Well I talked to the guy and he doesn't remember what was installed in the hole. My bet is on what you guys say, an after market windshield sprayer.

Does anyone know a car that used a center two hole knozzle?
