1958 Bugeye Update

Well I'm finally back on the road. I was having several issues (months and months) with sputtering, stalling and just not running. I installed a Weber carb, fuel filter, fuel pump, Pertronix distributor, flame thrower coil, Pertronix spark plug wires, plugs and ignition switch. I guess I did the carpet bomb approach to fixing the issue. Not sure what the individual issue was but she runs great. Spent a lot more than I wanted but I wanted dependability. Can I say dependability in regards to an old British car? I 'm a happy camper!

Is this a hobby or sport?

Re: 1958 Bugeye Update

Nope - here:

It's an affliction! (Especially numbers 2 and 3!!)

Main Entry: af·flic·tion
Pronunciation: \eh-flik-shen\
Function: noun
Date: 14th century
1 : the state of being afflicted
2 : the cause of persistent pain or distress
3 : great suffering

Apparently the ancestry of LBCs can be traced back to the 14th century!

Com on your just like the rest of us. Moss and vicky brit catalogs stashed all around the house and shop. Quarts of Castrol hidden in shop cabnets just in case. You get a sore neck from drive down a never before traveled road looking for a potential project.
Quit at any time yea rite....
