I bought a new one in the 70s and because they supposedly got a bad batch of axles at the factory, I replaced 3 axles in it the first year. They weren't designed for freeway driving due to the low gearing, but would shine in the rough. Dealer wouldn't stand behind the broken axles, first one was $160.00, second was $185.00 and the third was over $200.00! I got rid of it before the 4th axle went. Sorry, but I'd never buy another. PJ
