do you still have the hairbrushNICE! '70/'71?
Years ago ('72-'73) I had a '64 Ghia convertible; Ocean Blue with grey interior. Built a bored-out 1500 with Holley carb and mild cam. Great fun. It was stolen from in front of the apartment SWMBO and I lived in just after getting married. I reported it and called around to friends to be on the lookout. Buddy who had a VW shop said he saw it parked on the side of Airline Hwy. in Metairie, about 20 miles away. Apparently someone took it for a joyride and ran out of gas. Went and picked it up and luckily no damage. In fact, the culprit left behind a cassette recorder and a hairbrush. Sure wish I still had it! And unfortunately I have no pictures of it...![]()
I bet it's mint. <snork>No, but we did keep the recorder for several years. Believe there were some tapes left with it as well.do you still have the hairbrushI bet it's mint. <snork>
No, but we did keep the recorder for several years. Believe there were some tapes left with it as well.
Many moons ago our cars were broken into - the thief (kids likely) found a little storage bin that we dodn't even know existed BUT more to the point of the thread left all my cassettes. Mrs JP still periodically mocks me about my lack of musical taste that even thieves woouldn't take them. No, but we did keep the recorder for several years. Believe there were some tapes left with it as well.
Since you're in "Sunny California",you need
to drive with the top down.
